Since it was a cold, rainy day we decided to skip the tailgating (and the game) and stay at the house. Ken was planning to go to the game with some friends so we invited the Griner boys (and their parents) to come over for some burgers. Mary made some yummy buffalo chicken dip and we had grilled burgers, chicken and hot dogs for the kids. After we ate, we sent the guys off to the game in their rain gear. The kids had a great time playing - Kendall had been waiting for "the boys" all day. They played legos, k'nex and kindergarten. They had the most fun wrestling - and "only a couple" of them got hurt. Mary and I planned the SS fall social - lots of fun! A great night spent with friends.
